Meet Dr. Girdwood

As a now 40 year cancer survivor, Dr. “Bart” sees each day and each personal interaction as an opportunity to make the world a better place. After five years of working as an engineer, Dr. Girdwood decided that he would like to have more direct involvement in improving people’s lives. Dr. Girdwood decided to combine his love of working with children and his engineering background by becoming an orthodontist. This is reflected in his commitment to providing the most cutting edge technology in orthodontic care in an environment where patients and families know they are truly cared for and valued. Dr. Bart and his wife, Eileen, who is a registered nurse, settled in the Warren/Butler county area to raise their three children. They appreciate the family-oriented values that the communities in this area exhibit as well as all the activities that the area offers. They now enjoy sharing the fun with their three grandchildren. Dr. Bart takes great joy in giving back to these communities by sponsoring a variety of activities including youth baseball, softball, basketball, football, soccer, and cheerleading as well as class trips, mission trips and band competitions. He stays involved in many of the area schools through lecturing on dental health and by participating in health fairs and career fairs. Many students over the years have also benefited from job shadowing at Dr. Bart’s office. When not creating beautiful smiles in his office, you may see Dr. Bart running or biking the roads in Warren and Butler counties as he trains for his next half-marathon, marathon or triathlon. He also enjoys playing golf with his family and friends, watching his grandchildren participate in their many school and sports activities, cheering on his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, being involved in church activities, and traveling when he has the time.

Dr. Morgan Fischesser

Dr. Fischesser grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and discovered early on a fascination with smiles—captivated by the way a genuine smile can light up a room and bring people together. That lifelong appreciation sparked a passion for orthodontics and a commitment to helping others feel confident in their own smiles.

She attended Miami University on a Division I basketball scholarship, balancing a rigorous athletic schedule with academic excellence. Her time as a student-athlete instilled values of discipline, teamwork, and resilience—principles that now guide her approach to patient care. Dr. Fischesser remains active and has been a certified fitness instructor for over four years, continuing to share her love of movement and wellness with others.

Dr. Fischesser graduated as valedictorian from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and went on to complete her orthodontic residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she received advanced training in the latest orthodontic techniques and technologies.

Known by her patients as “Dr. Fisch”, she is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality orthodontic care in a supportive and welcoming environment. She takes pride in building lasting relationships and helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Outside the office, Dr. Fisch enjoys staying active, hiking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Henry, and their beloved golden retriever, Goose. She is also actively involved in her church, where she finds joy in faith, community, and service.
